Rotary Table

A strong turntable suitable for rotational motion demonstrations.

Constructed from two 18 mm plywood platforms covered in non-slip matting and measuring 450 × 450 with a 150 mm dia ball race bearing in between. The turntable can support balanced loads up to 100 kg and is most effectively used to demonstrate conservation of angular momentum.
