Reaction Timer
A competitive and engaging way to measure human reaction time to a visual stimulus.
How it works:
On connection to a Lascells timer, the large LED on the front panel of the reaction timer will illuminate in green. The subject presses the green button to indicate that they are ready. The LED then switches off, and after a short, random interval, the LED will illuminate in red, starting the timer. The subject responds as quickly as possible by pressing the red button, triggering the stop gate, and the timer displays the measured human reaction time.
Perfect for introductory laboratory sessions, the study of the effect of stimulants (e.g. caffeine) on reaction times, and discussing experimental errors.
No power supply required (the reaction timer gets its power from the timer).
